Aloha!!! This is a picture of me from my trip in Hawaii in January! I loved it there! The first day, I screamed when I was in the water, but the rest of the vacation, I never wanted to get out! I could stay in the ocean all day long. I got to see a surfing competition, see the sea turtles, drive around the island a couple times, and even went to a BIG luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I even got to meet even MORE of my family members who live in Hawaii. It was the best trip ever!

Ok, so Mama hasn’t posted anything on here in forever. I can’t blame her…she has to chase me around now since I’ve been walking since I was 9 months old! Mama is gonna try to catch up with the last months but for now enjoy a picture of ME!

Guess what I can do…I can hold my bottle now… with the help of my trusty bottle handles and maybe a little help from my parents. Tonight Mama, Papa and I made a quick trip to Babies R Us and they saw the Born Free sippy cups with interchangable handles. Papa had his doubts cause I’m still a little baby, but Mama insisted to try it out. I grabbed hold of the bottle and put it to my mouth. When we got home we put the handles on my bottle filled with milk. It was a tad bit too heavy but I did try my best. I’m no pro at it, but my Mama and Papa are still super proud of me!

Today I gave Mama a nice little surprise at the store. I pooped all over myself for the first time! Of course it had to be the one time Mama didn’t bring my diaper bag with her in the store. Lucky for her it was just in the car and lucky for her she had a fresh diaper and a little stash of wipes in her purse for a temporary fix. She wiped the poop from my legs and put the clean diaper over BOTH my onsie and dirty diaper to “contain” the poop. Then my Auntie Maile watched me while Mama ran to the car for the diaper bag. I stank up the whole store! I was so calm and cute throughout the whole thing that Mama had to take a picture. All Mama could do was laugh at the whole situation.

Hi. My name is Jacob, but you can call me Super Jakey! My Mama & Papa think I’m super special so they’ve given me an awesome AKA. I’m a little over two months old today and my Mama finally has time to help create my blog so that you can see just how fast I am growing up!
Let’s start from the beginning…
I was special even before I was born. My Mama & Papa say that I was created by two amazing angels named Jenny & Jason. They blessed my Mama and Papa with their one and only wish, Me! I was incredibly loved by all these people even before I was born.
I entered the world on December 15, 2009 at 12:06 pm. I was a tiny 7 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches long! Mama & Papa said that I was the cutest baby they’d ever seen! It was the best day of their lives and couldn’t be anymore thankful or feel anymore blessed.
I LOVED my first bath and actually fell asleep while the nurse was washing my hair. Mama got to feed me my first bottle while Papa became Mr. Photographer. Mama got to stay with me my first night and didn’t sleep until almost day time because she was so in love and wanted to spend all her time just looking at me!
From Day 1 my Mama & Papa were already proud of all the things I could do!! I was already pretty darn good at holding my head up and I was sleeping through all the noise, a plus for my sleep deprived parents, I was already grabbing hold of my paci and oh yes, I was born with ALL that hair!
…………………………Fast forward to January 15, 2010
I am one month old!!!! My first month was filled with lots of meet and greets with all the people in my life (just call it celebrity status). I met most of my family and Mama & Papa’s awesome friends, but most importantly, I met my grandparents! They already spoil me so much!!! I also met the two babies who I’m gonna get to grow up with, my cousins Dylan and Ava. I had TWO baby showers, celebrated my first Christmas (I got a special little blessing from the Priest at Christmas Mass, along with my cousin Dylan) and slept through my first New Year and have already travelled from SoCal to NorCal.
Some accomplishments my first month: I am trying to hold my bottle already, I smile all the time (when I’m fed and have a clean diaper, of course). I am so alert and already follow noises and the movements of my mobile. I can “hold” my bottle while I’m eating! I love napping in my swing, things that light up & make noise and taking naps on Mama or Papa’s chest. I started eating a TON since birth, near my 1 month mark, I was eating 3 oz, but that only lasted a week and I went back down to 2 oz a feeding. I also got circumcised, which made Mama cry because she could hear me crying from the waiting room, but the nurse said it was mostly because I was hungry…I’m such a chunker! I love story time at night and when Mama sings “you are my sunshine” and puts my name in the song. I also took my first real bath and LOOOOVED it! I cried when I was taken out. My new super cool trick that makes my parents laugh so hard is when I copy them when they stick their tongues out. It’s even more funny when I do it like a little snake. With probably a little bit of influence from my parents..I love watching Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Club House! I’m a Disney Fan already, thanks to my Mama and Papa.

Mama and Papa can’t believe how big I’m getting! It seems like I grow bigger and bigger each day. I don’t fit my newborn clothes anymore, I wear size 1 shoes already, my socks are getting too small when they used to fall off, I don’t fit my beanies anymore (Thank goodness cause I hated wearing them), I roll to my side, I smile and coo a TON now…mostly saying “agoo”…I love it when Mama “wears” me in the baby bjorn. I am so aware of what’s going on now and I know when it’s not Mama or Papa holding me. I can spit my paci out like a rocket when I’m done with it! Mama has me taking some of my naps in my crib but can’t bare to not see me so she got a monitor with video, it’s her new favorite gadget. I’ve gone to Disneyland TWICE already and went up to NorCal for the second time. It’s been a fun-filled second month. I’m also sleeping a little longer. I got to celebrate my first Valentines Day in San Diego and Mama and Papa took some silly pictures of me in different eye wear…they think I’m some kind of baby model. We also got to take family pictures!!! I’ve come to love watching Mama play Call of Duty on the xbox…which make both Mama and Papa proud since they are both geeky gamers…I was able to sit in my bumbo chair for a quick minute and can really hold my self up so much better now. I’m still a bit wobbly but I’m almost there. I try to stand up when I’m held under my arms…and LOVE to kick kick kick! Soccer anyone? I’m also attempting to grab my toys. I recently found my fingers and I think they are deeelicious!
To kick off my two months mark…I got my first set of shots…I cried..and so did Mama. I’m becoming such a big boy lately and my parents are both super happy and somewhat sad at how fast time is flying.
